White Rum

White rum (also called silver or light rum) is filtered after aging to remove color, giving it a clean, slightly sweet profile. It’s the go-to rum for cocktails where you want the mixer flavors to come through — think Mojito, Daiquiri, and Piña Colada. Bacardi Superior is the most commonly used white rum in the world, though Havana Club and Flor de Caña are worth trying if you want something with a bit more character.
