Whipped cream on cocktails is the finishing touch that turns a drink into a dessert. It tops Irish Coffee, hot chocolate drinks, and frozen mudslides. Fresh-whipped is always better than the can, but let’s be honest — Reddi-Wip at 2 AM is part of the experience. For Irish Coffee specifically, lightly whip heavy cream so it floats as a thick layer you drink the coffee through. Whipped cream vodka (like Pinnacle or Smirnoff) is a different thing entirely — it’s a flavored spirit that tastes like vanilla frosting and mixes into root beer floats and cream sodas.
