Pimm's No.1
A proper Pimm’s Cup is basically summer in a glass — Pimm’s No.1 topped with lemonade or ginger ale, loaded with cucumber, strawberries, and mint. This gin-based liqueur was invented in the 1840s by James Pimm, a London oyster bar owner, as a “health tonic.” At 25% ABV, it’s lighter than most spirits, which makes it dangerously easy to drink on a warm afternoon. It’s the official drink of Wimbledon, where they serve roughly 80,000 pints each tournament. Stock up before your next garden party.
