Midori Melon Liqueur

That bright green bottle has been catching eyes since Suntory launched Midori at Studio 54 in 1978. It’s a honeydew melon liqueur from Japan, sweet and unmistakable, and it’s the backbone of a Japanese Slipper and countless other bright green party drinks. At 20% ABV it’s fairly light, so it plays well with vodka or rum. A little goes a long way — too much and your drink tastes like candy. Best when balanced with citrus to cut through the sweetness.
