Jameson is the gateway Irish whiskey for a reason — it’s smooth, affordable, and shows up at every bar on the planet. Triple-distilled and blended from pot still and grain whiskey, it works neat, on the rocks, or in an Irish Coffee. The Midleton distillery in County Cork has been making it since 1780. For cocktails, Jameson plays nicely with ginger ale and lime in a simple highball. If you want to step up, their Black Barrel expression has extra char character that holds its own in whiskey sours.
