Galliano

That tall, tapered yellow bottle behind the bar is Galliano, an Italian herbal liqueur with a distinctive vanilla-anise flavor. It’s most famous for the Harvey Wallbanger — vodka, OJ, and a Galliano float — which was huge in the 1970s. The original L’Autentico recipe blends over 30 herbs and botanicals. A float of Galliano on top of a drink adds both flavor and a nice golden layer. It works in coffee drinks and cream cocktails too. The bottle shape is intentionally impractical for bar shelves, which somehow adds to its charm.
