Creme de Menthe

Bright green and aggressively minty, creme de menthe is one of those liqueurs people either love or associate with their grandmother’s candy dish. It’s the starring ingredient in a Grasshopper — blended with creme de cacao and cream — and a Stinger, where it meets Cognac. The green version adds color; the white (clear) version delivers the same mint flavor without turning your drink emerald. Pour it over vanilla ice cream for the easiest dessert hack ever. At around 25% ABV, it’s gentle, sweet, and unmistakably peppermint.
