Cranberry Juice

Cranberry juice adds a tart, slightly bitter edge to cocktails and gives them that signature deep red color. You’ll find it in the Cosmopolitan, Cape Codder, and Sea Breeze. For mixing, look for cranberry juice cocktail (the sweetened kind) rather than pure unsweetened cranberry juice, which is mouth-puckeringly sour on its own. Ocean Spray is the standard, and it works just fine.
