Advocaat Liqueur

Think of advocaat as Dutch eggnog in liqueur form — thick, creamy, made from egg yolks, sugar, and brandy. Warninks is the brand you’ll find most often. Mixed with lemonade (the British kind, like Sprite), it becomes a Snowball, which is a classic British Christmas drink. It’s rich enough to eat with a spoon in some versions. Advocaat also works in flips and dessert cocktails where you want that custard-like body. Store it in the fridge once opened, and shake the bottle before pouring since it tends to settle.
